Each month a group gather for a gentle stroll, covering a wide range of locations with varying degrees of ease (some walks are suitable for wheelchairs) and they are always followed by tea and cake! Everyone is welcome, including dogs and children, and we meet at the church in order to car share and ensure everyone knows where to park and how to get there.
Walks take place on the third Saturday of each month, departing from The Worship Centre at 1 pm, unless otherwise advised.
We go out whatever the weather, so make sure you come prepared with suitable clothing and footwear!
This year, our planned walks are as follows…
- 16 April – Mount Batten to Jenny Cliff
- 21 May – Rame Head Peninsula
- 18 June - St Ives; day trip by train
- 16 July - Salcombe
- 20 August - Walkham Valley
- 17 September - Wembury
- 15 October - Sourton
- 19 November - Cox Tor
PLEASE BE AWARE: We are a group of friends and family members. Although walks will have been scouted, all travel to and from, and activities undertaken, are at your own risk. North Plymouth Community Church cannot be held responsible for any accident, incident or injury whilst participating in one of the above events.
