On Thursday 29th October, Emma and Lucy Taylor headed to the China Fleet Country Club to join hundreds of other teenage girls for the annual Innocence Girls Conference run by Oriel Ministries.

Today they tell us all about it.

Innocence is a Christian Conference for teenage girls which helps us get past the troubles that face us, such as peer pressure and how society thinks we should look and act, by teaching us how God thinks about us, and what He wants us to be like.  It was an amazing day, and we got so much from it.

The day helped us to remember just how special and amazing we are because that how God made us!

When we first got there, they gave us our own VIP lanyard, and as we entered the meeting room we walked in on a red carpet so we felt like we were celebrities. We were then greater with free smoothies and lists for us to book to get our hair and nails done. We were made to feel so special and important.

Throughout the day there were different seminars and activities like swimming and cupcake decorating. We made bows and flowers as well as doing some nail art where we learnt all about how to decorate our nails.

The party atmosphere helped us to forget about our worries and just relax

In the evening there was a big party, with special guest singers Shell Perris and LED. Micheal McIntyre was also there! Not the comedian, but an illusionist and magician who was really good.  There was also a photobooth which was a lot of fun and a massive chocolate fountain which was bigger than Lucy! The party atmosphere helped us to forget about our worries and just relax and the whole day helped us to remember just how special and amazing we are because that how God made us!
